Doesn't surprise me since the anime was trash and sold like trash.

No harm has been done since the anime was horrendous and one of the prime reasons why the Summer 2014 anime season was a big slap in the face.

For me the anime is decent but wont watch it again if they somehow make it into season 2.

Rail Wars 2 is likely the only thing that will the studio not go bankrupt. Seriously who cared about Rokka no Yuusha?

Letdown for RW fans.
The anime is already travesty-laden, all I saw were too much boobs, not enough trains, and certainly none of the privatisation terrorists.

Agreed. As a level 90 tetsudo otaku, who probably spends more on TOMIX, MicroAce and KATO model trains per year than anime, I had very high hopes for the anime. So, it pains me to say I'd sooner sit through Glaslip again rather than watch RW.
Way too much fan service, way too few trains, and literally zero plot other than bouncing boobies if that's what could pass for a plot.RW the largest let down for me in anime in years.

Actually in the case of Rail Wars anime, I noticed it seemed to be showcasing butt more than boobs. I thought it looked alright. .. until something had to move.

Seriously man, those skirts were tight! Especially on Sakurai. Anyway, You could start a drinking game regarding RW's pointless fan shots and be knocked out before the Op has ended. The low point of the show though was how that guy with the safety jersey got shafted beyond believe. MVP of the show.

I liked Rokka...and I actually liked Rail Wars.
Though, out of the two, I'd say Rail Wars was more of a guilty pleasure. And I could stop seeing Mikuru Asahina when watching Haruki Koumi.

I meant in Japan. Haven't seen it but I heard it did badly sales wise that they even made the US release not so cheap and limited edition only.

Ah, yeah, I think that the first Rokka volume sold around 500 units. Sad, as I did like it, and really hoped for a 2nd season.
And, I'm probably not going to own Rokka myself, seeing as PonyCanUSA cancelled the standard release that they had initially announced.
