I am really amazed by some of these light novel writers, I realize unlike manga they don't have to draw, but your average mangka that has success usually has maybe one big work, and having even two successful works is the realm of a handful or rare individuals, Togashi, Takahashi, Toriyama come to mind.

But it seems like most of the top ln writers put out 2,3, 4 sold works, I mean Kamachi put out Index, which also has the hit spin off Railgun, and about to have an Accelerator spin off, while also getting Heavy Object animated, and Zashiki should honestly get animated as well, even Marriage would make a solid ova. Nisosin, put out the monogatari series, madeka box, katangatri. Gakuto Mikumo put out Asura Cryin, Dantalion No Shoka, and the current Strike the Blood. Sao creator also put out Accel World, Shinami Maou put out Hagure Yuusha, etc.

I have a suspicion that writers have more time to edit and revise their stories. Mangaka have to have those manga submitted more frequently and tend to require a push from a big manga company. Said companies tend to force the mangaka to keep drawing the same story/setting. So not only are the mangaka unable to draw new stories, but they have far less time in which to polish their works.

I'm a terrible writer, and I've tried. I know it can be hella hard, but the climate for writers seems to be a bit more free in several senses of the word. Just my thoughts on the matter since I thought you brought up a good point.

This gives you an excuse to post the 20 Confirmed Kamachi Kazuma facts:
    1. Continued writing even with the norovirus.
    2. Once held a meeting without his manuscript in hand and accurately remembered everything down to the line number because “it’s all in my head”.
    3. Completed Index Vol. 2 in only 17 days.
    4. Had almost finished writing Index Vol. 6 before Vol. 5 was released and had the plots complete up to Vol. 9
    5. Is abnormally fast coming up with his plots for Railgun as well.
    6. Has worked on writing a novel, coming up with a manga plot, writing an SS to be bundled with an anime, and coming up with an original game scenario all at the same time.
    7. Completed Heavy Object Vol. 1’s manuscript in only a few weeks after getting the go-ahead on writing it.
    8. Sent in the manuscript for Heavy Object Vol. 2 a few days after getting the go-ahead.
    9. Will write the manuscript before a deadline has even been set or will bring the next volume’s manuscript to a meeting discussing the previous volume.
    10. When asked for an original short story for a magazine project, brought the completed manuscript and a full novel manuscript that did not have a deadline set yet.
    11. Takes a break from writing by writing something else.
    12. Always attends the anime script meetings and recording sessions except when sick. Came up with the ideas for every single original episode.
    13. Always writes an SS novel for the anime. Already has two Dengeki Bunko novels’ worth.
    14. Has plenty of manuscripts that he ended up rejecting or that had their release delayed. Altogether, it adds up to five Dengeki Bunko novel’s worth.
    15. At the most, has supervised the serializations of seven manga adaptations at once.
    16. Wrote the entire main scenario for Million Arthur and supervised the details of all the card characters. Did the same for the sequel.
    17. When asked for a single short story for a magazine project, brought ten stories in and asked them to choose one.
    18. Continues to bring in new manuscripts with no set deadline. Keeps doing it even when asked not to.
    19. Has been releasing novels monthly since the end of 2014, but still has a years’ worth of manuscripts stocked up. (As of October 2015)
    20. When asked how he can write so much, said, “If I don’t keep writing, I’ll crash. Like an airplane.”

It is true that mangaka usually have to put out something every week while Ln authors usually put out a novel every few months, this probably also forces mangaka to wing it more often to meet deadlines which usually leads to lesser results.

That's a rather long and strange name for a title lol

As one of my favorite LN authors, I'll look forward to this.

i guess this mean he's completely finished with the toaru series and any chances of a season three for the anime version is slim to none at best.

^ Given how he's in the middle of an arc in Railgun, Accelerator, and there are no signs of stopping Index any soon, lol no he's not done with To Aru.

He's also writing Mitou Shoukan: //Blood Sign, Heavy Object, and every now and then the A Simple Series so it's not much of an indication. Also, the Toaru Series is far from over if we're speaking strictly from the plot.

No way can Index end anytime soon, it's one of the few IPs that can sell big without an anime backing it.
