Thanks Paul. I like a lot what you did with the column this week. There truly were some memorable anime releases in 2015. I look forward to reviews from titles I want to buy next year.

I like how Kaneki is the image used for this since today is Ishida-sensei's birthday

Yeah, 2015 was a good year for good titles to come by (and some shelves too). Now to see what next year would bring.
(Also, I wished this article had someones shelves to go with it, but oh well, maybe next time! X3)

I was hoping to see this as well, a "Best Shelves of the Year" section.

If you want me to buy one of those DVDs, your comments make you never want to see those animes.

And there goes another year, waw, time waits for no one. I enjoyed Shelf Life this year, though I'll be honest, I bought very few recommended shows and kinda did my own thing buying whatever looked cool to me.
Hope 2016 is just as exciting as 2015 was. I'll see everyone next year.

Well not attractive for every character in Turn A Gundam, I'm afraid. XD
In any case, Shelf Life is always fun to read and I look forward to seeing more down the line.

Is it time to complain about No Game, No Life getting skimped again?
2015 was the weakest year for buying anime for me, from titles fully being OOP now to too many sub only titles or dubbed series being priced and packaged out of my interest zone or new series slowing down to a trickle and license rescues not appearing at all...
2015: The Year that Was? The company that got the most money from me with 2015 DVD titles was Nozomi for their license rescues and Turn A Gundam... and most of that was during their holiday sale. To be fair, three months were set aside for A Lull in the Sea but it's not like there was any catching up I had to do like the year I bought Toradora from NISA.
I've budgeted myself for 1 BD a month... and I came out under titled by two months for 2015.

Out of the titles mentioned, I only have My Little Monster. I do have Patlabor 2, but it's an older release. I do want to see Bubblegum Crisis at some point though.
2015 wasn't a very active year in terms of buying anime for me. Aside from My Little Monster, I bought Kamigami no Asobi, Kawai Complex, and Windy Tales. I also bought Spice and Wolf and The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye. 2016 will be more active though.

Bubblegum Crisis is awesome, specially if you're a Blade Runner fan. It was thee anime that brought me back to anime.
Don't go near Bubblegum Crash!. That thing never existed.

I love the mentioning of Mardock Scramble: The Trilogy. I'm all about that!!
On Tokyo Ghoul, I'm one of those that's saving my viewing for when and if the Limited Edition finally arrives. I'm one that still likes to reach out and touch my anime.
I wish everyone a Happy 2016!!!!

i kinda thought so too. and from the looks of it, it would be a runoff of either space dandy, tokyo ghoul , or turn a gundam as the contenders.

We don't want you to buy DVD's, we want you to buy BD's. Otherwise, don't understand why you think he is negative.
