Oh no, really? It has a release date of 11/17 according to the encyclopedia...(my bookshop cares nothing for official release dates, so I can usually get stuff early.) Are you outside the US? That might do it.

I am 100% inside the good old US of A. Idk what the deal is, i guess my comic book shop has a weird supplier. I might just order it from amazon, lol

In that case, then, at what point does the manga go beyond what was animated?

Yeah, around volume 4.

Also, just as a note, this is not a shojo manga! For Leviathan's sake! It's a comedy manga in a shonen online magazine.

Did anyone mention that it was shoujo? I gave the title of the serializing magazine in the review, and it was also mentioned in the comments. Just because she's making fun of shoujo manga doesn't mean that anyone thinks this is shoujo manga.

Actually, I've seen a lot of people assuming this was a shoujo manga, although I can't put a finger on an example right now (same with last season's Aoharu x Machinegun anime, although the anime was conspicuously shoujo-fied compared to the manga). For the people who don't pay attention to the source of the material, I guess it's understandable; Izumi Tsubaki mainly does shoujo, and it's very recognizably her characters and style of comedy, although the protagonist has been moe'd-up for the presumptively male audience...
