Ah about time. I heard this was pretty popular :3
Actually looking forward to it and hoping it will be a normal length show.

I am not surprised it got an adaptation announcement.
Akiba has tons of goods for this series, and it is only a manga. I was thinking something must be coming.

There's quite a few doujinshi out too, further proving its popularity.
First we got the Shirobako of eroge, then the Shirobako of anime, then the Shirobako of voice acting, and now the Shirobako of video games.

2 volumes and already an adaptation? From what I noticed, more often than not it usually means a short-form adaptation.
quoting the synopsis, ANN wrote: | In the workplace manga, the main character Aoba Suzukaze graduates from high school[...] |
YES!! Finally. Keep it up, Japan. That's the spirit. Time to reduce the [school-life] entries.

You're referencing Koe de Oshigoto!, I assume? Saw the OVAs, they were nice.

It's a 4koma manga and you can get a surprising amount of content out of those.

Indeed I am.

Well at least there's going to be another show about adult females in the workforce; they just so happen to be cute!

? It's [expletive] crap
I despise the fact that Shirobako and shows like that are basically advertised as moeblob cute girl SoL - plus half the time they are just crap. If your main cast is all one gender then your show/manga is just a sell-out series which you could have made worth something but instead pandered to the lowest possible degree.
You may as well [expletive] make them idols whilst we're at it.

I wouldn't mind if they were idols.

Is this going to be like that one about the girls running a magazine? I can't remember anything about it, other than that's what they were doing.

Granted, the girls do look moeblob-ish, but i loved Shirobako (which was far from having a n all-female cast or "pandering", btw) and Seiyuu's Life, so i will definitely give this a chance.

I thought Shirobako, well-written, surprising and entertaining and a story about passion, was several levels above the vaguely-enjoyable romp through the world of voice-acting that Sore ga Seiyuu! presented. I'll check out New Game!, but I hope it's closer to the former than the latter.
[EDIT]: Which isn't to say that Sore ga Seiyuu! was bad at all, just that Shirobako was a much better-than-average show, I thought, and that I really enjoyed it.

I have to hand it to Manga Time Kirara: they seem to be firmly committed to this "one anime adaptation per season" strategy of theirs.

Is it really that hard to avoid kirara anime if it does not suit your taste?
But while you're enjoying being salty, we, the fans, will enjoy these kind of series.
