Everything about this show is just so atypical of A-1 Pictures I keep forgetting they're supposed to be involved in it.

Really enjoy both the OP and ED, but gotta say, the animation for the OP is amazing. Seems there are a few things this season that are embracing Rotoscoping, and I couldn't be happier. This show is all set to be great. Don't disappoint, please.

The OP/ED don't really fit with what I pictured for this series. Still, I actually liked them both. Which, for me, is a rare occurrence.

Really cool both of them, especially the OP with that festive dancing feeling (especially after seeing the serious tone of the PVs) that reminds me to Death Parade's OP (which I still like more because it has better timing, but this one still rocks). The animation from both is pretty unique and thematically consistent with this outdated computer aesthetic (1st one with sketchpad-like graphics and the 2nd one with this pixel unity showing endless complexity), and I also like the weird hints (I think) it gives from both the three characters' relation and the long-haired girl's possible nature.

Looking forward to this show and watching/listening to them every week.

At first I wanted to praise the OP movie maker for being at least creative with the use of rotoscoping but in the end... it's just 3 people dancing around, duh. Not really sure what it has to do with the genre of the actual anime. So I like the ED animation better in the end.

As with most of the other commentors, I really really liked that OP a lot!

whenever A-1 tackle mature series they always knock it out of the park, without fail. But this smells success, if A-1 see how big this will be, this could be a massive turning point for the studio, really excited

They already had a massive turning point when they started getting the big LN contracts. I don't necessarily see why this would be a big turning point for the studio so much as something they might really need to get their image out of just being an otaku friendly enterprise which they've been stuck in for a while now. Usually but not always when they work on noitaminA their shows turn out far better, stuff like Saekano and Oreshura excepted.

I also wouldn't say they've ever really knocked it out of the park but they have had some good stuff like Space Brothers and Shin Sekai Yori (the only series from them I'd really call mature), unfortunately it's still largely outweighed by a lot of just flat out crap like Gunslinger Stratos and Vivid Red Operation. Also they really need to stop marketing themselves as the best out there and just really actually do some good work again and their image will improve as well.

I'm really mad that they ripped the opening off of Ryan Woodward's work....get it together A1 Pictures. Sad

I can't really say if they ripped Ryan Woodward's work, but watching his video after watching the OP shows just how superior his is. Its so much more than just two people dancing, it tells a really heartfelt story.

That said, the OP was actually pretty good by itself. Looking forward to the series.

Looking great.

I'm really hoping for this show to revitalize noitaminA and what it was initially all about. I hope it'll be at least half as good as I'd like it to be, and I'll be content with that.

That would be a pretty great irony cause IMO A-1 and their parent company is the main reason it's strayed so far from it's original purpose in the first place since they've tried to commercialize it way too much. Shows like Saekano and Guilty Crown especially which exist totally for commercial purposes of Sony Music Company have absolutely no business being on that block, but I'd also argue their Nanana's Buried Treasure and Galilei Donna, Katangatari and Black Rock Shooter don't either. Ranpo Kitan could have belonged on that block had they attempted to "do it right" instead of adding all kinds of dumb gimmicks like traps and such. The last time they "did it right" was Ping Pong IMO, but since then they've been entirely self serving with their offerings and a couple times before.

If they take over managing the block with Fuji TV and break it they should damn well be the ones to try to put it back together again in all fairness.

You didn't think Katanagatari was a good fit for Noitamina? Confused

Pretty artsy OP and ED, can't wait for the show to air.

My thoughts exactly. I'm fine with shows like Saekano and Punchline but Perfect Insider is the kind of show I watch noitaminA for.
