I'm kinda interested in checking these Happy Science movies to see how bad they really are. From what I've heard so far, most of them seem to be pretty mediocre or decent until the final ruins everything with a ridiculous conclusion that's obviously very cheap religious propaganda.

Looking through the ANN Encyclopedia, and I didn't know Tom Kenny was involved in so much anime. You figure he could just live off that Spongebob dough.

I'm surprised they can afford to go the Hollywood celebrity voice casting route for this.

Well, it's not like they lack money or else they wouldn't be able to affort so many anime movies (and I'm sure they are not exactly profitable).
Happy Science also claims to have 12,000,000 followers, so even if the actual number is substantially lower, they still seem to be in a pretty good position financially.
If I remember correctly, they also do really expensive advertisement campaigns.

Appropriately enough, this religion is turning 30 next year and the founder turns 60 next year.

Strange didn't know such a film even existed. If I remember correctly this was a Bang Zoom dub production curious to whom directed the dub.

Holy crap! Dylan Mdermott? Hynden Walch? TOM FREAKING KENNY? Why in the world would they involve themselves with this?

I'd like to go to a screening of this if there are any in Los Angeles. It seems Eleven Arts' websites are down, though.

...because voice acting work pays bupkis, and they can't really afford to be picky?
