I always notice her "Di Gi Charat Theater" characters on advertisements every single time I visit Akihabara.
Rest In Peace

Very sad. No doubt she died before her time.

Very sad death indeed.
What's even worse is that she never got to complete her manga that was unfinished before her death.
Rest in peace, Ms. Konno-san.

I didn't know she was a lyricist as well.
Her manga was something that will always remind me very strongly of being an anime/manga fan in the early 00s. Piyoko was also my favourite character in DiGi Charat and I remember being thrilled about her drawing an entire book about her.
Rest in peace

Another loss, most surely before her time. Rest In Peace.

Thank you for your contributions. While I may have not read your works, I still can see how talented you were.

There are a lot of people that die a year but the people that are noted in a specific industry might get more news coverage beyond the local news of your average person's grandma dying.
