Castle Town Dandelion (TV)

Genres: Action, Comedy, Slice of Life, Seinen
Themes:

Plot Summary: The everyday lives of the nine super-powered siblings of the royal family are monitored by more than 200 surveillance cameras and broadcast nationwide. The people of the nation who are watching the broadcast will have the ability to elect the next monarch. Akane is the third-oldest sister who can manipulate gravity. She is shy and desperately does not want to be caught on camera.

200 surveillance cameras haha.

The premise sounds pretty fun and it's directed by the Noriaki Akitaya, the same director that worked on Bakuman. Looks like fun tbh and I saw a few of the visuals. Could be a dark horse of the Summer.

Episode 1:

Saw it on TV and it was actually funny. I think a bit too much happened though in the first episode as the main characters are all introduced with some displaying more powers than others. Akane seems to be the most prominent member of the family as the main girl. It was kinda amusing seeing her stop a thief...

Otherwise, I'm not too sure what to think of this. I think the show can play around with the misadventures in terms of the powers.

I loved how all of Misaki's dopplegangers had different hairstyles. Also, Kanade's robots are kinda adorable.

So far, this show is doing a great job making the siblings distinct and memorable. I'm definitely on board for this one.

Episode 1

Kind of actually liked this, it was cute. Although I could have done without panties being mentioned so much. I can see more, and I like the odd combination of normal family and not so normal.

What an unusual family.
That Akane.. such sense of justice, yet so camera shy.
Game part was kinda fun.
Not bad, but think I'll skip this.
There is a lot to pick from this summer season.

I was looking forward to this one, and the first episode was basically what I was hoping for, cute and funny. Of all the different powers, I think if I could have one for myself, it'd be Akane's gravity power. As a little girl, one of my biggest dreams was to be able to fly (the other was to become a mermaid Laughing ). I would choose Kanade's if not for the fact that the cost of the created items has to be taken out of my bank account...

Another week of craziness.

It looks like the girl with the yellow pigtails got a bit of spotlight. Cutest family member so far imo although I'd like to see more of her power being used.

I don't have anything against the show but I can see where this is going, and it's probably not going to be my cup of tea.

You normally don't see people manage to confess so directly, especially in those kinds of situations. Kudos to her.

Oh I thought Shuu looked sad when he saw the rankings on tv last episode because he was dead last. But all he really cares about is sabotaging his twin.

Episode 3

Really too bad we do not get enough of a good look at de-aged Akane. Well I did enjoy seeing what Hikari's power of age had to offer. I was partially expecting Akane would go up for being spotted in little kid form.

Also Shiori seemed to do most of the saving of her older brother.
