Not sure why, but the staff list for the I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying anime page is locked.

CDJapan spelled the name as "Cool Kyo Shinjya" (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOBK-1046892).

Still looking for an official romanization other than the Twitter account.

But I don't see why that's a reason to lock the whole thing, so unlocked.

IMHO romanization should be "Cool-kyō Shinja"

I like that, but the tankouban releases for Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! uses: Cool-Kyou-Sinnjya. Similar to the Twitter account.

ん -> nn
Doesn't make any sense from a pronunciation standpoint.

On the dust jacket of the Metsuko ni Yoroshiku manga tankōbon, the publishing firm Ichijinsha romanised the name of the mangaka as 'Coolkyoshinja'.

He (?) has at least five different romanizations:

1. Cool-Kyou-Sinnjya
2. Coolkyousinnjya
3. Coolkyoshinja
4. Cool Kyou Shinnjya (not on the cover; click the preview and roll down to page 3)
5. Coolkyo Shinjya

Not to mention that 3 and 4 were published by the same company with just 4 months apart. Rolling Eyes

From a romanization and consistency standpoint, I like Cool-kyō Shinja. But we need to pick one either way now that the author has multiple works adapted into anime that he/she remains uncredited for.

I'm more inclined to stick on his (?) Twitter account. After all there are many names in non-standard romanizations in the Encyclopedia already, and at least one of them was a direct and personal request to ANN.

I'm bumping this since I saw some more news about him (?) launching a new manga today, which means I'll be writing an article about it soon.

So... what should we go with? The Twitter account thing is fine, but it's @coolkyousinnjya with no spaces, but that might be because its Twitter and he thought _ might be annoying, IDK.

I'm OK with 1 or 2 then from dormcat's list earlier, even though it's an annoying romanization. But yes, let's decide, and I'll go back through as many articles as I can find and fix the name.

For a person's name, or their own creation, if they have a preferred romanization, we always go with their choice.

So it's going to be something along the lines of the e-mail/twitter "coolkyousinnjya."

The problem is where to add in the spaces.

IMHO either Cool-kyou Sinnjya or Cool kyou Sinnjya would be correct.

Maybe someone could e-mail [email protected] and ask?

Seven Seas licensed one of his manga and is going with the romanization Coolkyoushinja for the official release.

I've added this to his related works.
