The original video has apparently been pulled (according to some retweets on my twitter feed), but the one point of info that's missing for me to get interested, is if it's for the NN3DS only, or if it'll work on the original as well.

Well, the box art clearly shows it's for the regular 3DS.

I like that they have the character-switching RTS feature from the Samurai Chronicles games, I imagine that will make the game a lot more fun to play solo. I question whether or not they will have all of the DLC that's been released with the WiiU version on the 3DS cart though.
Am on the fence about it. I personally don't need a portable version of the game unless it has both local and online multiplayer.

And the article itself. Makes sense they'd remove a leak, but hopefully it doesn't mean the announcement isn't still forthcoming.

It's cool that you can play as Tetra, but that seems to be the only incentive to buy it.

Ditto. Not everyone has a Wii U (or wants to get one currently), and the 3DS is a much better alternative.

I already own the Wii U version and I'm really hoping that the Wind Waker characters and other new items will be available for the Wii U version as a dlc. I love Hyrule Warriors to bits but I rather not spend another $40 on a game I already own for another system just to get new stuff for the Wii U version.

Gamexplain posted a video pointing out that the crossbow weapon from the female Link's concept art appears in the picture of all of the playable characters towards the end of the video. Wonder if it was just an oversight of the art department or if something special is actually going to appear in-game.

My thoughts exactly. Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game and I'll be pretty peeved if I have to buy this game again to play as Tetra and KoRL.
I can see them being free on Wii U for owners of the 3DS version but payed DLC for owners of just the Wii U version (sort of like Mewtwo in Smash 4), and that's perfectly fine. They made all the pre-order costume sets available for purchase on the eShop, so I'm really doubting these characters will just be locked out without the 3DS version, but I'd like confirmation.

nope, I don't buy it. this is way too easy to fake and really silly to boot. (also note the lack of Amiibo Logo on the 3DS case)
