I generally don't buy the BD releases and stick with dvd  .

The only bd player I have is my ps3 which is in my frontroom but I like to watch shows whenever I feel like which doesn't really work when my family wants to use the ps3 or tv.
Also because dvds are cheaper by a few quid which can make a lot difference.

The same people who would buy the DVD rather than the BD if they came out at the same time (and probably a few people who don't realise a BD is forthcoming)
