Did Z3 do so poorly that they're announcing the next one this soon? Either that or the development for Z3's second half must have been exceptionally long for the its team that whoever is making this had plenty of it. I wonder what the new units will be? I can certainly tell that one silhouette is definitely Dunbine.

The handheld and home console SRW are done by different teams. I guess this one was being worked on since the release of SRW UX

I don't know why the handheld team hates Getter Robo...we can have multiple Mazingers and Gundam, but not one Getter? Those three franchises should always have at least one representative in every SRW.

well I can see Macross is on the list so there's a fat chance in hell we'll see this state side just like all the other super robot war games, well except for those OG games which were nothing more then gratuitous cleavage shots, why the hell can't harmony gold just die already

The main manga writer, Ken Ishikawa, died in the mid-00s. Since then the license has become expensive, forcing Banpresto to only use Getter Robo in console games with Nintendo-based handheld games, starting with J, not to feature it with the exception of W (and even then they only used Shin Getter without plot). I won't lie, at the top of "things I want to see in the next SRW game" New Getter Robo is number 1 since its treatment in SRW Neo was a total joke.

I knew he died, but I didn't know it was more expensive. Given Mazinger always shows up, I figured Getter must have been around the same price (given Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa worked together for years *though Getter Robo was Ishikawa's baby*).
Frankly, all I want is for an SRW series to do the full Getter Robo manga (all five of them), and eventually give us Getter Emperor.

Harmony Gold is FAR from being the only thing keeping SRW games from coming stateside.

I'd care if they were doing this on a Sony platform. Unfortunately, there isn't a snowball's chance in hell this gets localized and the 3DS is region locked.

The game did fine. People really need to stop listening to compulsive complainers and Amazon.jp comments which have had it in for this publisher for a while. Most of them are general rants about DLC that have nothing to do with the product themselves

this is true but from what I've read they've bitched the most when it came to not getting the amount of money they wanted
