This is the first time that I've heard that the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh will be making his appearance here in the U.S. Has there been earlier instances of Kazuki Takahashi appearing at other conventions, or is this his first time?

That is quite a name for Comic-Con to feature, Yugioh and Pokemon were one of the defining factors of my childhood. Too bad I won't be able to attend the convention this year, just being able to go to his panel would have been something.
