One Piece is a morning TV series, so the DVD/BD sales never were important! This is probably the first not Otaku/nighttime(or evening) anime TV series that ever appeared in the BD list. In reality normally One Piece type animes don't even have BD releases to begin with. One Piece only got his, in the end of 2013 during Punk Hazard, while it aired HD in TV since episode 207(end of 2004). This are pretty good news because it means that at least 278 One Piece fans from the around 1,2k One Piece TV series collectors finally changed to BD, as can be seen by the DVD sales decreasing to around 900k, instead of the normal 1,2k. |

It shows up from time to time, just not in the top 30 BD list.
Are you sure you're looking at the same list as the rest of us?
Precure also shows up monthly, yokai watch sold a ton, Log Horizon shows up every time a volume goes on sale etc... |

Well, here we only get the list of top 30. I don't know how series do out of it. Where do you get the data for more than Top 30?
I'm sure Yokai Watch only has DVD box-sets, so is not BD. Log Horizon is of those shows that I would categorize as evening shows like Haikyuu!!, Seven Deadly Sins. They are short series, only have around 2 cours at a time, and air around 17:00 or later. Those series normally sell very well BDs. I don't remember ever seeing Precure ever appearing in the BD list! Looking for it, I found that Happiness Charge Precure vol. 2 appeared one time. Totally forgot about World Trigger which BDs volumes sold around 700 average for now. It seems right now every Toei series has BD releases. I don't know about other studios, but it seems more of an exception than a rule(OLM, Studio Pierrot, TMS don't seem to have BD releases for their TV series). |

For One Piece, people buy the DVD collections not the individual volumes. Like how the last DVD collection "Promise" sold around 15k before dropping off the Oricon charts
