I already got the first bilingual OVA set, so this is reassuring, assuming Funimation gets it. I didn't want to start spending my money on a version that would be incomplete in the long run instead of holding out the TV series version. And here's looking forward to the movie as well.

Yeah, this sounds like promising news to me. If they were just going to recut the OVAs with the new episodes and then box that all up, I wouldn't even bother picking it up. If they sell these final episodes separately though, that gives me a lot of hope. Maybe Funi can release them in import sets like they did with the current OVAs and fans won't have to pony up and rebuy the whole thing just for another 40 minutes of content.

I'm confused, too. So does this Pyrophoric Cult BD/DVD have both of the new episodes? or is this just the first new episode and they'll release another BD/DVD with the second new episode? Anyway, I'm glad they're releasing the new episodes separate from the recut episodes. So I can just get the new ones instead.

It seems like they've been trying to quit making new episodes, but can't help themselves.
Not that I'm complaining. I enjoy Arise.

I sort of assumed it was going to be a different release for each of these new episodes, based on the title. But yeah, the most important thing here for me is that they are getting their own releases, rather than being bundled.

Based on what the release is listed with on CDJapan and Amazon Japan, this "episode" is going to be 50 minutes long. Amazon also lists it as having 2 new episodes, so I guess this is it. It is also listed with English Subtitles, so this is a definite buy for me. Now we just wait for the movie!

^Appreciate the tip. Two 50 minute "episodes" are a nice surprise. I'm really happy these aren't regular TV-length ones. Can't wait to see them and the new movie.

The new ones start with episode 9 and will lead into the movie.
