Quite a good trailer. The animation isn't the best but it should hopefully be a great show. The first five volumes of the manga have been incredible.

Looks similar in style to Black Lagoon and Jormungand -- in other words awesome!

Well, I can say that it has similar styles like the 2 anime you mentioned but Jormungand's setting is kinda like worldwide and this new anime is just set on a single town. |

Every scene in the trailer is straight from the manga, so it will be interesting to see how much of the source content it ends up adhering to.
BTW: you're missing seiyuu from the confirmed cast list. Suggest you refer to official website: http://gangsta-project.com/staff_and_cast.php Also: Mina = Nina Ivan Grazef = Ivan Glaziev Galahad Woeho = Galahad Woehor |

They got the artstyle down. Hopefully the animation can match it.

I liked the music. I checked a bit about the composer Tsutchie, and I found out that he mainly does non-anime-related hip-hop tracks.

The trailer looked really good, and I found a new ringtone for my alarm clock. Now when people ask for any mafia anime to watch, they can recommend this also instead of obvious mention of Hitman Reborn.

Is it just me or does "Gangsta" have the feel of "Gungrave?" because that's how it feels like to me. The town it's set in has the feel of it being set in a hard boiled America-type place. There's no way that this could be set in a faux England,Canada,or Ireland. At least, that's what I got from what little of the manga I read and the promo I saw. Also, the character's names,it also has faux America written all over it. That's the vibe I got from it,at least.

A friend of mine is a big fan or the Manga, and hope all the praise he gives it is justified.

I think I am gonna have to check this anime out. It looks pretty awesome! I loved Black Lagoon, so maybe this anime will fill the hole left in my heart from finishing that.

Wow, almost forgot about this show, since it's been on radio silence for the past few months, it seems. However, the trailer reminded me why I was looking forward to it in the first place. The staff list was mighty-temping enough, and the footage has only helped bolster those expectations. It certainly has a Black Lagoon vibe, but doesn't feel like its aping it, either, at least from the trailer. Hopefully, it will all pan out, and it's only a good thing to see manglobe back to doing the type of work it used to do spoiler[(I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that they can garner good sales this time around…)].

Yeah, it looks great. And on the staff, I've been looking forward to Shukou Murase getting to direct a new show again for a while.
This. |
