Other intersts besides anime? good topic.
Here I go: I love read Harry Potter books, comic strips of garfield, peanuts and Hobbes&Galvins. About other series, for I can see is Will&Grace and sometimes Seinfeld. Surfing net, play Kingdom Hearts( when my mom let me play in the place where I wanna(living room) -_-') and play with photoshop, and walking and think. |

Let's see... I like playing go a lot, it's a very crazy complex game... and even though I've played 500+ games on my online go server I'm still only 15kyu.
I like watching world cinema... I just finished Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring and thought that was extremely beautiful and made me feel all warm and Buddhisty inside... Recently, I also have seen Volver, 2LDK ( that was a crazy movie), and The Five Obstructions ( also beautifully done). I like nature; hiking and backpacking are fun.... Uhh.... and I also like melodic death metal, thrash metal, blues, and jazz. Favorite artists include: Death, Opeth, Dark Tranquility, Agalloch, Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, Miles Davis, John Faddis, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Coltrane... |

I write & read a lot. I also play tennis all the time and I'm a beach bum during the summer. Every year I say that I will quit my viola. Every once in a while I sail or mini-golf (surprisingly fun ), and I'm obsessed with my one and only love Veronica Mars even though it's canceled
Lydia, please drop Mercedes Lackey. She is a terrible, horrible, formulaic writer. If you want some really good fantasy look at Robin Hobb. I'm a personal fan of the Ship of Magic trilogy. I also DDR a lot because it helps keep me in shape and it's really fun. |

I agree that Lackey (much like Melanie Rawn) is a lesser version of Anne McCaffrey. I only started reading her stuff since I had finished all of those Pern novels. I would recommend Catherine Asaro's novels if you like romance (I read these mushy authors too) mixed with SF. Robin Hobb is amazing! Her trilogy of trilogies are really intense, although I have yet to read her new series. She is just so mean to her characters. Although most of my collection consist of male authors (industry ratio) my favorite authors (don't be surprised if you see my list of favorites change since I have so many) at the moment are Lois McMaster Bujold and Kage Baker. |

I for one couldn't get into Robin Hobb's books but enjoyed Lackey's Valdemar books. I've not tried her other stuff but I enjoyed the Last Herald Mage trilogy and the others on Valdemar. Burning Brightly I especially liked. So I say keep reading Mercedes Lackey and enjoy whoever you want Lydia.

Which books did you try? The latest Soldier's Son trilogy or whatever it's called I didn't like at all, but I find the intricacies of the Assassins and Ship of Magic trilogies amazing. And the romances there are not gushy, the characters are likeable and have believable challenges and flaws, and multiple plots are going on. I still stand by Lackey's flat characters and two-dimensional plots, but of COURSE I'm not telling Lydia what to read. C'mon Psycho I thought you had more class than to pull that card on me. I read really trashy romances if I'm feeling down or going to the beach. |

I wasn't pulling any sort of card on anybody. I was simply telling Lydia to enjoy Mercedes Lackey. As for Robb, I'll have to go and look online at Borders or Barnes Noble for plots to remember which ones they were. I got them through the library so I don't own them and don't remember off of the top of my head. |

I have two hobbies that take much of my spair time. I first got into aquariums a while ago, I fell in love with a fresh water fish named "discus". They take alot of time to care for them because they need very clean water ( I was doing a 50% water change daily). Although they are alot of work, they are well worth it in my view. I then got into poison dart frogs, they are beautiful and a ton of fun to watch. They are as bold as can be... they must know they are poisonous .
Some pics of some of my fish and frogs: Fish http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM0466.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM0361.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM0842.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM0778.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM0914.jpg Frogs http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM1768.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM1473.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM1539.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM1540.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM1428.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM1444.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM1483.jpg http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/chompy8/?action=view¤t=HPIM1528.jpg |

They're really neat. I prefer something you can cuddle with My dog is part albino. He has a pink nose and very pink skin and amber eyes.

Hah. Found you! I'M a WoT addict myself, I used to spend lots of times on WoT forums reading theories and complex stuff about those novels... you should try going to the WoT message board on wotmania.com, you'd see what I'M talking about... This series is so much deeper than it seems. Anyways, at the moment I'm just waiting for the 12th and last book to come out. I just love this series, I'd recommend it to anyone, although some of the last books aren't too great. |

I bet it's the cutest dog in the world to eh (next to mine) . I really don't think of these as pets, they just a hobby I enjoy... most don't even have names. As for pets, you really can't beat a dog! |

sorry about this being a late reply but my mom makes me stay home to days of the week so I get the wood done and chores. Anyways I like to cook my grandma's homemade stew where I do to cans of tomato sauce, corn, and peas. I also add about one pack of hamburger the size you get at walmart. After I get it cook the hamburger seperately and add seasonings to it (cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, and seasoning salt) I add it into the pot with the others. I normally let it cook for 1-3 hours depending on how well the wood stove works. During that time I add some more seaonings like garlic salt, diced onions, cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, seasoning salt, and 3-4 beef boulon (sorry thats probably mispelled) cubes. Some other meals I'm not going to say the recipe's of these though or else it would take up to much space. Some of these are packaged meals but anyways I make are Spagetti, homemade maccoroni (not boxed), cookies, Chile, nachos bellgrande (if you want to now what that is pm me), lasanga, steaks, french fries, chicken, chicken nuggets, fish, shrimp, salad, malts, sundays, hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza, hamburger helper, chicken pot pies, and I could make an essay on all the foods I make but I stop here. oh and to your other comment of course I have showers but I like taking baths for 3 reasons. 1. If you can't afford a jacuzzi a bath is the second best thing. 2. I don't have to listen to every single thing my mom has to say. 3. Since my room is next to my bathroom I can watch T.V. when I'm taking a bath. |

Through Facebook, I am increasing an interest in Chess. Even though I get my butt whooped by better players. I keep on playing.
