No, the surprise is they're still dubbing Ladies versus Butlers.
No, the surprise is they're dubbing Rio and Juden Chan.
No, the surprise is that they're still around.
Guess there's no end of surprises here.

Uhm... are they out of their minds? Do the have too much money? My guess is that the dubs for each other these shows cost 100$ to make.

How about dubbing the rest Bakuman instead.

Recognize anyone in the cast listing? Then congratulations, you work at Media Blasters!

This is an untried voice director (Brittany Lauda isn't even 25 years old) and a mostly untried voice cast (Amber Lee Connors is best known as Android 18 on DBZ Abridged by the way, and before you get on my case she doesn't exactly hide it).
Either this will turn out well, or this could be a disaster. I guess we'll find out pretty soon.

Assuming these shows aren't continuously pushed back I'll be getting all of them. I already have Juden but I'd like to watch it dubbed.
While I agree with some of the complaints directed toward MB, I don't understand the attitude some people have taken toward them. I'ts like seeing a deer get hit by a car and then watching other passing motorist drive by thinking "gee that animal is still alive, why won't it die already". MB has shown at least to me that they want to be in the anime distribution business just as much if not more so then some of there competitors.

Either way, it's going to be very entertaining to witness.
I'll bring the popcorn.

It's only two episodes, and not very good. I wonder how putting the dub up for free affects disc sales, because now there's little incentive for people to get the disc.

This pretty much sums everything up.
I have to hand it to them, they've been very proactive in marketing their efforts, and I hope that it pays off for them.
OTOH, this was a very fast turnaround, which presents its own set of problems.
Wishing them the best, but also remembering that this is a bit of a "baptism by fire" for a huge number of cast and crew (in order to temper my expectations and not hold them again an impossible standard).

I really don't see how they're trying to do that. Their new releases for the past year or two have been pretty much bootleg quality, and they still haven't sent anyone replacements for their botched "Koe De Oshigoto" and Super Robot Wars OG" release which they promised to do last May.

They are planning to dub Ladies versus Butlers? Have they even started dubbing it? Right Stuf has the release date for it as March 10. Seriously, if you don't know if a show will be ready to be released by a certain date, then don't announce your release dates until they are ready!
