That was a waste of a minute and 46 seconds.

Well, that was pretty terrible. I'd like to see Robot Chicken take the same premise and make something that was actually entertaining out of it.

Seeing a crappy anime parody like this makes me want to watch a good anime parody like Robot Chicken's DBZ Christmas special sketch (even though there are some errors in it, it was at least funnier than this).

And in all of those parodies, they all try WAY too hard to be funny (Alhough Ultimate Anime Hero is catchy). |

This gets spotlighted but not Sailor Moon 2015?

Perhaps not the exact same people, but i would argue there is a strong influence from the Family Guy team leading the Animation Domination stuff. I get the style of humor, but I stopped enjoying it a long time ago. It seems so crass and easy that there is probably little thought behind it. I watched a few more of the skits and I got exactly what I expected - the same type of humor used by family guy. Swearing where it isn't needed, references that are supposed to be jokes, and awkward lines that are completely out of character rather than actual satire. |

This isn't related to this particular thing but I'd like to see someone parody all those poorly animated "If "Blank" was Anime" flash cartoons that get passed around on major nerd websites that never even bring up Anime except under these circumstances.
The staff at FoxADHD could have made something clever and original by doing that but they chose to jump on this dumb internet meme bandwagon and are even making it an event. Sorry your crummy Saturday night block got yanked guys but is this really how you're going out? |

Yeah, it seems all these parodies are literally the same thing. They either go for obvious "applying anime/video game logic to real life" which has been done to death, or they go for the low hanging fruit of just throwing in tons of violence and sex. Or both. Everything you see on YouTube is the same. The most popular parodies are just characters from a show or video game acting completely out of character and just swearing and murdering everyone. It pretty much lacks anything creative |
