Well, in many parts of the manga Levi and all characters basically look like sh*t too, almost unrecognizable in several instances, why is people complaining? These figures are being true to the original source

Without being able to look at it up close. The thing that I'm seeing is that it could be shading. AoT seems to have some heavy shading to it; real-light can't cast the heavy shading on the figure so it could make it look strange. I've seen a similar thing on some other figures before.
I've seen horrible figures in time, though. Faces seem to be the hot-point for figures looking wierd

Normally I'd be more forgiving with this being a prize figure and all, but that's pretty terrible even by prize figure low standards.

Why would prize figures have low standards? I thought that since they're supposed to be rare and highly sought after, they should be among the highest quality figurines available.

It sounds like he's confusing it for cranegame-level prizes.

Those high quality figures are the expensive 1/6th resins, and prize figure usually refers to the cheap non-scale cranegame ones.

Well, I don't mean that they're normally high quality, as I get that prize figurines tend to be low quality. I'm asking about why it's that way, since logically speaking, if there's a contest whose prizes are all low-quality stuff, then wouldn't they be hurting themselves by turning away people who would want high-quality stuff?
Or do the people who enter these contests not care about the quality of the prizes? Or have they tried high-quality prizes in the past, but the number of entrants didn't increase enough for it to be more profitable?

I don't see a problem. Looks just as emotionless as Levi normally does.
