So it wasn't Rewrite...(well, I kinda doubt it in the first place now) but rather this show. Kinda interesting I guess. I hope we find out more info soon but I am interested in this.

This looks great. I'm hoping they give the proper amount of episodes. I'm a bit on the fence because PA works is doing it and they can't do Na Ga's designs justice. Will be watching this regardless though.

So much for Angel Beats season 2.... Oh well. I had doubts that it was going to get a second season, anyway.
Well, since it is Jun Maeda who is doing work on this anime, I might as well give Charlotte a try when it comes out. |

As grooven said, they announced the Angel Beats! visual novel release date. They also announced an AB! Blu-Ray box-set with a new OVA episode. |

Reading the translation of the text in the PV, I think this IS Angel Beats season 2. I think this is the story of the same group of souls in their next life! I hope so, at least... I also hope it is more than 1 cour... |

I think it was pretty clear that they stated that they would give announcement regarding Angel Beats! AND a new project. So why are you guys so surprised?
This is also clear, this is a NEW ORIGINAL ANIMATION PROJECT so now stop talking about Angel Beats! season 2 or Rewrite anime adaptation. They're not impossible but, to quote Answerman: I don't know. I never know. If you want more Angel Beats! wait for the VN in May next year or buy that BD to get that new OVA |

Ha! I remember on Dec 9th when everyone was like "Angel Beats season 2!" And I was like "... or a new a completely unrelated new anime that is not based on anything similar to what they did with angel beats. " Looks like I was right. Super excited! Jun Maeda is my idol.
edit: and if it this was 5 years ago, I'd be meh about P.A. Works but lately they've been my favorite (with the exception of Glasslip) |

I've no doubt that this will be another Key master piece. Everything theyve made are on my top favorite list. Though it sad we dont get a sequel to Angel Beats or a 24 episode (or more) remake or No rewrite adapation at this point. Im sure all those will come eventuelly. If the VN of Angel beats does well im sure we getting a remake. And rewrite is just a mather of time.
