Lol, Boruto. I guess it's a better name than Salad
As for the upcoming movie, I hope they reveal the details of the major supporting characters with the aftermath of the series.

Poor Bolt, the new projects haven't even started yet, and his father's name is already attached to him.
Talk about living in the predecessor's shadow

It's ボルト. Literally romanised as Boruto, but can be read as Bolt. Similar to how クリリン from Dragon Ball can be read as either Kuririn or Krillin.

Unless "Last" in the latest Naruto movie is referring to the last movie where the main Naruto characters are the focus, carrying that in the title seems like false advertising/marketing ploy.

All those panels do is remind me that The Last was a far better ending to the series than the actual final manga chapter was. Funny how these things work.

But what I want to know is weather his name is intended to be 'Bolt' without the romanization and is only written as 'Boruto' due to the language barrier preventing proper pronunciation or if it's specifically supposed to be pronounced 'Boruto' in both English and Japanese.

So they call a movie "The Last" then announce... a sequel. Huh. Cant stop milking that poor dry cash cow.
Wait thats the Evangelion one. There might still be milk in the Naruto one.

The movie was called The Last because it referred to Naruto's last maturation, romance.

I think the moment that really exemplified Naruto's arc and struggles was in fact the post-credits scene. Naruto wanted to become Hokage, but only because it was a means to an end. He was only interested in that position because the Hokage is supposed to be the most loved and most respected person in the whole village. Naruto, being starved for affection, thus decided that was the quickest way to earn respect and love.
But the fact of the matter is he didn't need to do that. The symbol of him truly gaining happiness is shown with The Last. Naruto used to come home to a small, dark apartment. Alone. However, in The Last he's shown in a big, bright house with his wife who's making a new scarf and their kids who lovingly tackle him. And the last shot of the movie is a picture frame showing Naruto and Hinata's wedding and baby pictures of their son and daughter. That's a WAY better example of showing that he's gained true love and happiness than just throwing some Hokage robes on him.
