Yay. This was just a matter of time tbh. I'm hoping this will be another 2 cour to air in Spring by Production I.G. The first season was great!

The music and characters really made this a cut above your average anime IMO. Everything just meshed well and the characters were so likable.
It wasn't very popular with I-fans, like most sports anime, so I was a little worried it might not be popular in Japan. Then I saw the sales

I also pumped my fist in the air and yelled, "YES!" So I'm excited to hear this news. (To say the least.)
Now I'm only left to hope that the first season of Haikyu!! does well enough upon Sentai's release stateside that it warrants the second season's license. *crosses fingers* Haikyu!! is such a great show! Way too under rated. Though I did see it cracked the top 20 on ANN's Top Shows of 2014 list in the fanbase poll so maybe that will help it gain more followers.

That's great news! The first season was awesome and either they'll air in spring again or summer but I can't wait longer than this.
