Oh cool, I didn't know the Barakamon manga was licensed. It's a wonderful series and deserves any awards it may win. Nice to see it getting some recognition and I hope it makes the top 3.

I like the idea behind the award, I myself learned to read with comics. My mum got me issues of 2000AD from the local newsagent every now and again because she noticed i was more into reading those than regular books.

Pretty funny that Barakamon is the only non-superhero manga on the list. So Barakamon is part of MCU Laughing ?

I have the first two volumes sitting on my desk (alongside my treasured copy of 'Ultimate Mop Daisuke DX' Very Happy ) and very enjoyable it is. For me, the anime was, without doubt, one of the three or four standout series of the last year - and of a few years before that. If there us any justice, it should win the award hands down - as long as Yoshino resists the temptation to punch the chair of the judging panel. Rolling Eyes (Let the reader understand!)

Hahaha *high-fives*
I agree, the anime was one of the absolute best, not a hitch from beginning to end. And the manga is gorgeous.
