Wow, I loved Sket Dance and Battle Spirits. Weird combination, but I'm totally looking forward to it.
I wonder if Tribe Cool Crew will get another season sometime in the future. It was just warming Battle Spirits slot so it could shift the premier to be closer to Super Sentai's new series premier, but I've been enjoying it and wouldn't mind seeing more. I also wouldn't mind seeing the rest of Sket Dance animated sometime down the line either. |

Damn. I all I saw was "Sket Dance" and "Anime" in the title and thought it returned, then I had to re-read it.

Again? Bandai seem to be repeating last year where they hired Murata (EyeShield21 & One Punch Man) to do character design for an anime on an arcade card game of theirs: animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-11-29/toei-eyeshield-21-yuusuke-murata-create-majin-bone-anime-project
Interesting approach to penetrating the market, but a major artist as a character designer doesn't seem to shape these projects or their success much. |
