Hanazawa Kana, Marina Inoue and Hayami Saori are the highlights I picked-up from the article. They, and the rest, are solid additions.

All 3 were in both Sekirei series and all 3 have had experience playing in harem/fan service shows.

I don't really know what to think of this anime. From the synopsis it seems like it is another generic action harem show. There are other shows with a similar setup where the male protagonist possesses a power that only females should have and enrolled in an all female academy such as infinite stratos. And generally those are not to my liking, so I'm probably gonna be dropping this anime. Too much unneeded fan service, another oblivious male lead, and unexplained things such as why he's the only male to possess the power...

Though it hasn't aired yet, I could see the roles that Hayami, Inoue, and Hanazawa are playing going to their respective Sekirei dub counterparts should Funi license this series.

Well the setup is not what makes a anime generic its how it is used that determines if its generic or not. After all a anime can use the same genre and setup as any other anime and still not be classified as generic. Also when anime has 'to much unneeded fan service' it originally was also in the light novel or manga.

I do agree that if an anime can use the genre correctly, then we can call it creative and not generic. However, I do not see a lot of wiggle space with the harem genre. They can give me as much action and complex plot as they want, but that never really rises above fanservice they keep shoving in my face. They're gonna have to be EXTREMELY creative with the show to redeem themselves from this summary of it. I mean this is just pile on pile on pile of cliches I see.
High school students fighting to save the world, Check.
Mysterious monsters that popped out of nowhere, check.
Boy has powers only girls have, check.
Enrolled into an all girls academy, check.
Sees another girl naked, check.
I mean, you get my point. So maybe they can somehow make this into something interesting, but i don't have high hopes for it, especially since I have never read the manga or light novel. If the fanservice was originally in there too, then I still think it is unneeded. A small amount of it is ok, might even be beneficial, but you know something is wrong when every 5 minutes you're getting reminded of what color underwear, what length skirt, and what size bra these girls are wearing.

Well one can not say that fan service is not needed when the anime or manga or light novel is rated for older teens or adults because if I'm right this manga or light novel has seinen as its genre which means 18 and older so its going to have fan service most likely a lot that does not mean it needs to be removed that just means the anime isnt for you
