Excellent. I don't particularly care which legit streamer got this as long as one of them did. Hopefully, CR will follow this announcement up with one about getting Chaika - The Coffin Princess Avenging Battle later this afternoon.

I think Funi already announced Garo, so it's unlikely CR will get it as well. The new series I'm hoping to hear simulcast announcements for soon are G-Reco, Robber's Daughter, and Shirobako.

So, I'm just looking for confirmation that Crunchyroll is covering the second half of EDIT: So the news that CR got Chaika was released in the time I first started typing this, walked away from my computer, and then came back and posted. |

Phew! I was worried! This is my most anticipated title this season because I loved the manga when I read it, but I read it long enough ago that the details aren't fresh in my mind.
Now it just needs to be a *good* adaptation (or great, I'll take great!) |

Very excellent news! I had hoped that Crunchyroll would license Parasyte - the maxim. I really liked the manga and there are interesting possibilities in putting its visuals into motion. I'm curious to hear what Migi sounds like; the casting was a curious surprise.
I'll still wait to read a few previews before committing to it, but I think chances for this are pretty good. And yeah, I totally want to see what his arm turns into in the second episode... Getting this and Chaika - The Coffin Princess Avenging Battle might go a ways toward encouraging me to renew my subscription when it comes up in a few months. Pretty good deal, Crunchyroll, pretty good deal. |
