Oh, Ao Haru Ride volume 11 is only around 53k off beating volume 10's 8 week total.
And, I hadn't realised how close we are when it comes to The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan. But, I guess that being released every few months...it doesn't really hit me until the next volume arrives on my doorstep. 
Nice to see Orange crack 100k. Just hope that the series doesn't go through delays anytime soon. Would like to see it get a good consistent run now, as the 2 or so years it stopped for is something that worries me. |

^Bleach has been outselling Toriko for ages. I'm not even sure the opposite ever happened, tbh. Toriko usually rakes up higher yearly numbers because it releases more volumes per year, but in a per volume basis, I think Bleach has always been selling more.
Kind of surprised that World Trigger is getting such mediocre sales. For a WSJ series that's got an anime adaptation right around the corner, 87K is extremely low. |

yeah, Bleach per vol sale is very good. Toriko never beat bleach.

1.7 million after 4 days is about par for One Piece over the past couple of years. http://www.geocities.jp/jump_manga/jump5.htm#op Week 1's are more volatile anyway; you get a better picture by week 2/3. |

i think it may be, but not in a grand way or anything. volume 74 for example is struggling to reach 2.8M even after 3 and a half months but so is naruto, i mean it isn't reaching the 900K mark even though it used to cross the 1M mark so not sure if people are more interested in newer stuff or if the overall interest have gotten down anyhow this kind of decline isn't to be worried about. especially when it's Naruto or OP |

I don't read OP, so I've no idea what it could be spoiling. Though, it does look like it is the cover of the manga...so would've thought it was fair game to put it up?

You know Ali, there's some anime fans in this world that can somehow predict what will happen in the few next episodes by just looking at the manga volume covers or magazine's covers! P.S I'm truly not lying! |

Understandable. I guess I'm just numb to spoilers. Been reading comic for a long time, and we get little text blurbs that preview upcoming issues 3 months in advance. But, I personally don't think you can complain about the posting of the cover to accompany an article. Covers should be fair game, but it does seem unfortunate that One Piece's story can so easily be revealed by simply viewing a cover image. |
