Yay! Censored shit! Let's see how much they're going to butcher this.

Butcher what? I hope you realize that Clannad had no H-scenes since the beginning. It's all-ages appeal is why it's one of the most popular and beloved visual novels.
I haven't even read it, and I know this.

Yup. I read it, and I can assure you that this game is all-ages. No h-scenes at all, so they really have nothing to butcher here... I think.

THIS IS AN ALL-AGES GAME. IT WAS ORIGINALLY ALL-AGES. THERE IS NOTHING TO CENSOR. <end>
I'm really glad to see Key is putting forward one of their better known properties first; I'd have hoped for Little Busters! first, but I'm going to make sure to support big licenses like these. Hopefully sometime in the next five years (or maybe earlier) Key will be more open to releasing their games on DRM-free services like GOG.com, but I guess I can 'settle' for a Steam release

Yay! The unfinishable translation will finally be finished!!
Seriously though, this is amazing news. I just hope the price will be more like the other visual novels we've seen in English, as opposed to the price of PC visual novels in Japan.
And I wonder if we can convince Sekai Project for a pretty, physical collector's edition version too?
I feel like I'm contraditing myself... but for CLANNAD I would totally shell out for a pretty box. But an $80 digital copy would be hard to swallow.

As soon as Angel Beats is announced to a new specific date and Sekai Project picks it up, my entertainment life is set.

Woot! Hopefully it'll sell good and we'll see Little Busters and Rewrite. I'll definitely pick up Clannad.
Would like a physical release though. I'd pay good money for a physical release.

Hahahahahaha! You really have no idea what you're talking about, do you? Key almost never makes H-games, and Clannad has never had H-scenes. Not only that, but Sekai Project's never censored any of their games, and probably wouldn't need to, considering they mostly target Doujin and All-Ages games. Third, their translations are pretty damn good.

Hate generic response like this. This also apply for anime, manga, not just VN.
People watch an anime design, trailer, they always said this is generic, boring, stupid even though they have no ideal what's the story is about.

I'm going to assume this is the biggest thing that's ever been announced at Japan Expo USA? Nice get for them.

Clannad in English is awesome. Shame it's only digital, I'd love a physical release like what was done with School Days and Steins;Gate. Hopefully the price is good.

Remember children, don't be like this guy and just vomit out the first thing on your mind. THINK before you post and you too can prevent mockery of your ignorance.
Glad to see Clannad coming to Steam, maybe I'll give it a full playthrough this time around.

OK I will bite, how the SFIO is sekai project was able to pull this off. I am serious this is something that publishers have been trying to do for a very long time and key has a very long history of not playing nicely with English speaking fans. Also I know ever move sekai project has made so far and I don't see how they have the fiances to do this.
Also for the love of the lord please give us a physical release.
