Haha, these news room mistakes are horrible. This is one of the reasons I dislike watching the news.

Just pointing out, "previously" has an extra "e" in it in the article.

I think people are making way more out of this than they need to. It was on the screen for a few seconds and never directly referred to with any context. We don't know if they thought it was real and probably didn't. If they used a painting or something I doubt people would have cared so why is this any different? It's no different than reports being prefaced with a related movie clip. This was just a graphical representation, it isn't a big deal.

Yeah I agreed, some people are taking this too seriously.

Whether or not the news station thought the picture was real or not doesn't really matter as child soldiers unfortunately exist and more need to be done about it.

On a less serious note I do love a good news anchor fail, especially on Fox News Laughing

WHAT??? you trust a state run news agency more than a corporate controlled REALLY biased liberal news station?

one outright lies while the other is most ignorant and leave out important details. i'd trust fox over rt anyday

Russia Today is a pretty good channel for news. Far and away better than that pure propagandistic CNN or BBC when it comes to world issues. Anyone who kept with the the story of Crimea, and even now with the downing of the Malaysian Airlines plane and even the Gaza conflict can see the pure garbage spilling out of mainstream Western Media.

Anyway, slip ups happen, and this image despite being from a game is still fitting to the theme of the discussion. Might also just be some interns having fun

As it turns out, some state channels are more honest than others in their reporting. But anyone who just simply takes what the tube says at face value without any of their own research is simply being naive. You'd think the recent Iraq War WMD trumpeting amongst a host of other recent lies is enough to discredit FOX News as being the right arm of the same corrupt body of the Washington Regime.
