those bars look tasty!
I wonder if they're just an American thing or they can be also found around here in Spain...

Grandola bar, huh? Hah.
I'm wondering when the copyright lawsuits will ensure against them from Japan...

Nature Valley is a life saver, you'd die at conventions like these without food and water.

Yar, learned that after first con a few years back that you need something like granola bars to keep you sustained for the lines for panels and what not.

I don't know if they are available in Spain but they are sold in the UK and Ireland so it might be an idea to try any local grocers that cater to UK expats.

They may not be healthy, but when you haven't had anything in your belly for a couple of hour anything goes down the hatch . It's beneficial for both con-goers as well as the company as it's a very good marketing move.

How many posters here are from overseas, and don't know about Nature Valley Granola bars in every 3rd-grader's lunch bags/car trips?
(For equal "Protein/survival rations" reasons.)
I'm not sure, but did some posters here read the article and thought that a company tried to "copy" an anime product in real life for the convention, or....?
Nature Valley just wanted a "Kiss up to us on Facebook" stunt for fans to Photoshop the real bars into anime characters' hands, and played it up at the convention swag bags.
And FTR, I like the Quaker granola bars better, except for Nature Valley's "Sweet & Salty Nut" varieties.

Eh, what? Sure, there's healthier things people could eat, but they don't call super health conscious people "granolas" for nothing.
