I haven't watched the OVA in a while, but I am almost certain the fight is edited better in the TV cut at least in regards to Girge fight scene (the flip side being that many of the other minor skirmishes were edited down for time)

It may be better edited, but it comes across as utterly irrelevant and unnecessary.

Some more differences in episode 11, such as Borcuse executing Girge and Bades not being present for the final showdown due to a bullet penetrating his ugly face in episode 10. Since I only glossed over this episode without subtitles, I don't know what's up with Nike just disappearing. Girge was interrupted when he was about to kill her and she was not seen after that in episode 10
Will be interesting to see what the final episode is like.

Damn, there is no mercy from Athens soldiers..
Killing seems to be like breathing.
Winning the war is the only thing on their mind.
Krisna is in serious trouble.
Athens pressed pretty hard on the city.
Short flashbacks to Rygart's childhood were interestingly placed.
They would just pop up when you least expect it.
Very good episode.

Maybe the ancients had a better grasp at mechanics than the present civilizations? It's possible to jump like that granted you have a strong enough material and enough potential elastic energy stored. Each time a jump is executed, the energy is released and when he falls, that energy is absorbed again with some loss that can be made up by his power supply. All for all, if his mecha operates in this conservative manner, it wouldn't need nearly as much energy as the magical mecha to operate even though it appears to spend a lot more.
I have yet to notice a difference to the OVA. I hope they'll change the ending at least.
Ligament horsepower is such a bad translation/ term.

Last episode is the same as the OVAs. No major changes, same ending

Those aren't flashbacks, that's Rygart's little brother

You'll get to those in episodes 10 and 11.
