Charging fans an entry fee to see her wedding? That's actually a pretty smart way to make some extra cash. A bit ethically questionable, but smart.

Yeah, well good way to watch the wedding when you come to late. I do agree it's a bit questionable but then again it's Japan. |

Yuko herself reminds me of an older version of Maon, her wedding is beautiful in every way and I haven't seen a wedding this over the top before. It's like a heroine's welcome combined with the typical modern and traditional marriage customs.

The fee makes sense since it costs a lot of money to rent/buy the dress, rent the space where the ceremony will be held, provide food for the guests, etc.
No different than a regular American wedding where you have to buy a $$-$$$ gift for the couple to off-set the money the couple spent for the event. |

I'd like to know the fee, just out of curiosity. People who have big weddings typically get gifts around $75-100 per guest so I wouldn't think it was a big deal to spend around there on tickets.
She looks very beautiful in the kimono from what I can see, I wish there were better pictures. The one of the wedding dress is great though, I LOVE the neckline she chose. |

That's pretty interesting, having fans come to the wedding. Yes, there was a fee involved, but I do wonder if they wanted fans to pay for more than just the extra $.
May also have of been seen as a possible deterrent for trouble makers? |

I wonder how much of a boost Tameyura has given to Takehara, that town seems to give a ton of love to the anime. Also, Tamayura Director Junichi Sato was there too, I'm pretty sure that's him on the front of the float in the 4th picture. (but he definitely confirmed that he was there)
