I had a thought like this this morning. What would it be like they allow for our Miis to fight each other in Smash Bros? I was thinking this because I would have like to see one of the people I watch on Youtube (if you are curious it's brainscratchcomms. Go check them out if you like movie/video game commentaries: https://www.youtube.com/user/BrainScratchComms duke it out with their Miss like they are literally fighting each other. It would quite fun and funny. When I saw that this was actually going to reality I was so surprise and exited. Now I know this is going to be possible and that my favorite group I watch is going to be giving this feature a try.

As for the Amiibi figures for Smash Bros I'm choosing Sonic since I am Sonic fan, and I may also get a pokémon amiibi. However that would kind of be the equivalent of getting a pokémon to raise from the main games they are from. I most likely get the others.

On the downside the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros is going is being push back to October instead of being release this summer. Well according to Masahiro they working hard to make sure there aren't any bugs in the game, so if they are putting that much effort into this then I would a another few months. The group I mention earlier is most likely not going to be happy about this though.

Yeah, I can understand why. Palutena was awesome in that well animated trailer. ^ ^

That was a good animated trailer Melicans. I actually like that it seemed that it was the actual characters in the trailer instead of the trophy that look and acted like them.

Animated by SHAFT, one of the best studios out there. No surprise there.

A surprising lack of headtilts, though.

If there are going to be figures of every playable character I'll probably just get Ike's and that's about it.

If this is of any interest, the Amiibo will be compatible with other Nintendo titles, plus Mario Kart 8.

Nintendo demonstrated its "Amiibo" figures at its E3 press conference on Tuesday. Like Disney Infinity and Skylanders,

Funny that they're doing that now when people made fun of Skylanders. Laughing

Japan's actually been using that system since 2005, long before Skylanders was ever a concept. Perhaps not for home console use, but arcade machines in Japan have used the technology for games based on Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Pretty Cure, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Aikatsu, and other huge franchises. It's pretty widespread and common in Japan.
