NEWS: Viz Licenses Trinity Blood Manga for Digital Release

If I remember correctly, TP didn't release the last four volumes of the manga, right?

Collectonian, I would assume that's correct—it's a digital rerelease of the Tokyopop content, with no plans to produce the unpublished volumes.

RAmmsoldat, most/all of the original Tokyopop books themselves are probably still available; these digital-only rereleases seem intended to get (already-produced, nothing-to-lose) content out on the market again for those who missed it the first time, or maybe prefer digital releases.

I know that digital and print rights are two separate things so i just assume they only bothered to get one (as is the case with onepunch man) it just sucks that there are titles i want coming out in a format that I wont buy, i wish they'd do both as choice is a wonderful thing.

I hope this might mean the anime might be coming back too??

But these (the digital Tokyopop "rescues") are the exact same books Tokyopop published, same translation and even lettering, probably. If you want to read the series, you can buy the print copies that are still available. Rightstuf has v2-12 in stock (some in the bargain bin) and elsewhere you can find used copies of v1 as cheap as 1¢. I don't know if they're harder to find overseas, but it seems there are still plenty of copies available. So there's really no need for Viz to offer them again in print.

Onepunch Man and Cross Manage (and maybe other simulpubbed SJ series) are a different matter, since they're new content localized by Viz and haven't been published in English by anyone else. In that case, I wholeheartedly agree it would be great to have print and I hope that eventually they will give the series a chance.

problem with buying the old tokyopop ones is that the series was never finished and i'll be damned if im gonna start a series that has no hope of ever getting finished I've got enough abandoned series on my shelves as it is.
