God, that trailer look's f'n sick. I wasnt planning on seeing it, then my curiosity was piqued, and now, I'm counting down the days. |

I've been skeptical with the trailers and the rumors going back and forth (e.g. Optimus Prime having "lips"), but that one actually made the movie look decent. AND it had the transforming noise, possibly my favorite sound effect ever.
I just wish they could've used Megatron's original VA, and that Starscream's VA hadn't died. |

They should call it Running Humans: The Movie - guest starring some transforming robots that somewhat resemble the Transformers in some vague manner!

Im not like the look of the transformers. Im not sure if the fact I can see their wieres. It looks like a mix between transformers and "battieres not included." Wouldnt it be cheaper just to make them the way they look in the showes?

I have to say I like the Exclusive Trailer better than the Theatrical Trailer.
It does look interesting. I was wonder how exactly Shia whatshisface got involved with the good guys. Is New York getting it in the shorts again or is it Los Angeles this time? |

I'm with psychotim, I don't like the "open" look of the mechs. I can see why they would do it, it'll probably look better on film and they wanted to refresh the look and do something different... yet, it doesn't really do it for me.
I'm not one to judge things before I see them... but I have a sinking feeling about this one. If the name "Michael Bay" hadn't been enough. |

Well the reason why you have the open look is because of the fact that Michael Bay, and other people working on the movie thought that just about every part of the vehicle had to be represented in the robot form to be realistic, which is the reason why those designs are what we got.
The Movie will premiere next month in New York, then the UK and Oceania, then North America, etc. The trailer, still awesome, Meghan Fox's acting skills, so far alright I guess.I wonder how Michael got Porsche's Logo in the movie, as Porsche/VW/Audi/etc. didn't want to be in this movie because it has war themes.And this trailer will be in theatres with Spiderman 3(Week #3, meaning starting today),Shrek The Third(Which apparently is getting an exclusive trailer, due to DreamWorks making both films), Pirates: World's End,etc. |

Proof again Hollywood can't get things right most of the time. Why the "Open" look when the cartoons got it right the first time? You could tell Optimus was a Semi, Bumblebee was a VeeDub, etc., etc.
Also, i'm not liking the fact that they included two gas guzzlers into the mix, and made a decepticon a Mustang. |

That movie looks insane, I can't wait.
The part where the one transformer busts out of the sand with like spinning sawblades of death....

Okay, so my favorite line in the whole trailer: "It's probably Japanese!"
But yeah, I think it looks awesome! I don't really have a problem at all with how they made it look, although it would have been nice if maybe, like others have said, been less obvious about which vehicles where which robots. And also as mentioned, I too loved the fact that they used the original transforming sound! Awesome! Definitely going to give it a try when it comes out. |

I loved that trailer, Linking Park's new album is on there. They did really good with the transformations, which is important.

While the trailer does look pretty slick, i'm not getting a sense of the transformers' characters from this. The trailer seems to be showing them as mechanical monsters rather than conscious entities( and the new designs aren't helping).
I'm more than willing to give the movie a chance and the new look of the transformers, while unfortunate, isn't a complete put-off for me. I just hope this isn't going to turn into little more than a monster movie. By the way, i'm not sure but i don't remember any of the transformers actually speaking in this trailer, which sorta seems wrong, seeing as they're the main characters. |

I wish they went back too, there new album isn't that bad, but nowhere near as good as their first. |
