Awesome, looking forward to it :>
Been nearly two years since I've seen this when it first debuted.

So excited! I loved the original, despite the out-of-place science fiction elements.

How were they out of place? the anime is apart of the Please Teacher! universe so it was a given that it would have science fiction elements.

So now I need to decide if the first one is worth watching. What is the comedy-to-romantic drama ratio like?

Wait, didn't the 1st season have a clear ending that implied that spoiler[Ichika did come back.] So it could be covering that or them venturing off to space, there really isn't much to it.

Unless they're doing what they did with Please Twins and having a different set of characters during a time after the Waiting in the Summer.

More great news this morning. Waiting in the Summer is one of my favorites from 2012. I am not sure what can they do with the story, but I hope this new anime is good.

I would say 55% comedy and 45% romantic drama. It seemed pretty good balanced to me on those two elements.

Maybe out of place would be the wrong phrase. I'd say unnecessary. I feel like the story would have worked a bit better if it didn't bother with the sci-fi elements.

Oh. Good news. Just hope it's not a recap movie. Even an OVA would be better.

Hmm, I don't really remember the first season that well and I don't think I want to re-watch it... I'll probably skip this.

Oh, gawd. There are too many good news like this that I'm starting to think if I was already dead or in coma and dreaming of all these stuffs happening. I'm really really excited what it'll be.

You're right, that's how I should've worded it. I personally feel the series would have been better if she been a spoiler[foreign exchange student and had to go back home], or something along those lines. The sci-fi felt tacked on. And that's coming from a sci-fi fan.

My favourite anime from 2012. So glad it's getting a sequel (?).
I hope it focuses more on the supporting cast this time around - Kanna, Tetsuro and Mio. They deserved much more screen time.
