That boat looks pretty sweet.
Too bad that RX-78-2 can't move except its head. It has been estimated that it would cost nearly a billion dollars to make a full-size mobile suit that could walk around. Any bored billionaires out there? I too would like a Polar Bear Cafe mug. |

I find it really interesting that you said you couldn't take photos inside the GunPla gallery, since when I was there in fall 2012 I explicitly asked an attendant if it was ok to take photos in there and they told me it was. I got good shots of just about everything and nobody ever came and told me to stop. Maybe it's a new rule.
The center display in there looks new, but everything else looks the same. |

We just need an anime fan to win the March Madness picks. Piece of cake! These are really awesome pictures, Zac and Hope! If I'm able to make it back to Japan at some point, I'd like to take a day trip to some of the nerdier spots. However, I think I prefer places like Kyoto and Nara, which is where I went to in May last year. While I'm certain there are fun and exciting things to see in Tokyo, I have in mind other places I'd like to go to. I really love those historical, cultural spots with a lot of Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. If you guys are ever able to make it to one of those places, I definitely recommend it! They're gorgeous. As for sneaking in pictures in places where no photos are allowed.... >.> ... <.< .... I might have done that a couple of times as well. The first time was pure accident though, and I got warned about it. Still kept the pictures (and video) though. |

Are you planning to visit Kamakura? Because it is only a short distance away and totally worth at least a day's visit.

What has been worthwhile for repeated visits to Odaiba is the Miraikan http://www.miraikan.jst.go.jp/en/.
It's good to have lots of alternative things to see around Tokyo depending on the weather and how energetic one feels, and one can do day trips to Mito/Ooarai, Kawaguchiko, Kamakura or the like. |

Awesome work guys I look forward to more I looked at some of the graffiti and I read Odaiba in katakana lol.
All these pictures reminds me how much I miss being there. That is great to see otome and girl geared merchandise there so you don't have to make a trip to Ikebukuro (though still worth the trip). Will you guys go to Nara? That is definitely a great part to visit as is Kyoto. Those two are a must see! |
