I expected to see Shiranui from Medaka Box on the list since there is rarely a scene in both the anime and manga where she is not eating a ridicules amount of food, but I can't argue against those that were picked for the top 7.

Ok, I picked "other" on the poll. I love Kana Asumi as Miyu Tachibana in Amagami SS. Unfortunately, her performance makes the whole show worth watching. Oh, it's bad because she's the protagonist's younger sister in a romance anime and it's not that kind of show...

Definitely should've had Lina Inverse somewhere on the list. Other possible entries would be Fatty Buccha from Air Gear, Bob Poundmax from Gungrave, and Akira from the Virtua Fighter anime.
Oh, and don't forget Gluttony from Fullmetal Alchemist. |

A list of gluttonous characters feels decidedly incomplete without Sakura or Cherry from Urusei Yatsura, or at the very least Yuri from Galaxy Fraulein Yuna. Yuri in particular spends much of her on-screen time wolfing down ridiculous amounts of food. Heck, just look at the OP.

Voted Nyaruko for Kana Asumi. She brought such energy and life to the role that I'm not sure many other VAs could pull off, and Yuu Kobayashi would just be screechy and weird, as per usual.

Joining the masses here in the no Lina Inverse shock. Seriously, that's all she does -- eat, sleep, fight, repeat.
Also, Gawl (from Generator Gawl) is guilty of this. But that anime isn't as well known. |
