I assume this will be full of fanservice and nudity (otherwise what is the point) and Crunchy will have the censored version. Think I'll wait for the BD's or confirmation of the ecchi content and which version they stream.

Yeah, when has CR or any other stream actually had uncut episodes? I'm sure it's happened, but nothing recent springs to mind.

The only thing I can think of was Steel Angel Kurumi a while ago, which I assume was sublicensed from Sentai/ADV and obviously not a simulcast so a censored version may not have even existed (not sure about Japan TV in the year 2000 though). Had just a little nudity in a few episodes including the first couple, I ended up tracking down the DVD release from ADV after sampling a few on Crunchy. Wasn't as good as I was hoping... |

More specifically with my question, uncut simulcasts for new series. CR is a pay service just like AT-X, but you'll never get any of the uncut broadcasts whereas the likes of AT-X can.

We don't even know that this show is going to have nudity, so this seems to be putting the cart before the horse.

walw6pK4Alo, I knew what you meant with your question, it just got me thinking about any time I saw bare boobs on Crunchy. Almost forgot that Mouse was uncensored there too, obviously same situation as Kurumi though.
But yeah I agree on the other point, we don't know if there is nudity or major fanservice, they would be crazy not to. It would be forgoing its biggest potential selling point to get JP otaku to shell out the big bucks for the discs. |

I guess this'll be the closest we'll get to a Vocaloid anime. Sonico is a Vocaloid right? Sadly I really only follow/like Miku and Luka.

Ah okay. The voice cast of this show is amazing so I guess I'll watch. I miss hearing Kikuko Inoue in roles, so this should be fun. I still can't believe I missed her at Otakon 2009.... <_<_>!! |

If anything this should be pretty cute, though I'm admittedly mostly going to watch this in the hopes of seeing her "brother".
