So excited to be getting a Vita again for this. While some of the fandom has gotten on my nerves (not all, not by a long shot), this game looks to be absolutely phenomenal, and my cup of tea to a, erm, tee. Can't wait!

cool, but vita...not about to buy one just for this game, since I both read the LP and watched the anime.
3DS would be cool though. I'd get it for 3DS.

Why not? The Vita has barely sold anything. The 3DS is way larger market, and it'll allow more people to experience this game. What's wrong with that? Don't be a console fanboy. The more people that play this game, the better.

These kinds of games sell better on Sony systems... theres not much of an otaku/anime fanbase on Nintendo systems compared to Sony (ever wonder why you almost always see anime characters playing PSP/Vita?). Its why Conception 2 sold like 4 times as many copies on Vita than 3DS, and Senran Kagura Versus destroyed the 3DS sales of the series.

It's not a matter of being a console fanboy. I own both and would much rather see it on Vita. Both consoles need their exclusives and Sony generally gets the anime games. 3DS has a billion exclusives already. Give Vita something to boost its sales.

Professor Layton, Ace Attorney, Zero Escape, Fire Emblem Awakening, Pokemon, etc. Those are all anime-like or anime games and they've sold tons on the 3DS.

And I would rather see it on both because not everyone can afford a 3DS and Vita. I own a 3DS because it's where all the games are now. I'm not going to buy a Vita for one title. The Vita is going to go the route of the PSP if it can even be that successful. It'll always be second best.

Uh, Zero Escape sold next to nothing. Hell, Danganronpa sold 7 times as much as it did in Japan.

999 did do better in America than Japan, but they make these kinds of games for the Japanese... for smaller developers, the international audiences are the last thing in their mind. It was a good test case for Spike too, since they made both games, and the Sony platform was obviously the far more successful one (which is why they brought Virtues Last Reward to Vita too).
The others you posted are more mainstream oriented games with anime art... they're not games made for the anime fanbase specifically.

There's a lot more than 1 good game on the Vita. So saying you'd only be getting a Vita for this is pretty off base.
Every console needs its exclusives, its what gets people to buy the system.
Do I want to play Pokemon or Persona? Do I want to play Fire Emblem or Disgaea. In my case, I want to play them all, so I have both systems.
In your case it sounds like you want to play Pokemon and Fire Emblem, which is fine, but we don't need people whining about why it's not on their console.

Dangan Ronpa 3, and the spinoff AnotherEpisode are already in development for Vita. It's highly unlikely SC would be able to downport those to 3DS so I don't know why anyone would want ports of the first two when you won't get the rest.

I wasn't actually directing anything at you, just didn't want my bucket of quotes growing out of control actually  . The vita has been getting a ton of good stuff in the past few months/next few months. Not to mention the remote play with the PS4.
I'm really hoping Sony puts in work to get this thing selling.

Me too! No doubt in my mind that it's a quality console, and I feel pretty silly for getting rid of mine, but I guess that mistake will most likely be remedied soon. It's especially great because I have a PS4 and PS Plus, so I'll certainly be getting the most out of the console!
