I am sorry if this has already been brought up, but when I searched for school rumble in the anime forums I got 47 pages and when I searched for "school rumble", I got 0 pages.

Does anyone know if there will be an English release of the School Rumble anime?

Yes, by Funimation. no word on when. Try the "search Encyclopedia" option, it sometimes works better than the plain site search. Although I did find the Encyc page by just typing School Rumble in the search box at the top of the screen.

w00t! aug 21, I'll save the date!! I can't wait. I absolutely love SR...it's definitely one of my favorites even though I've seen so much other anime since I first watched SR

Finally a release date. I heard of the licensing months ago and wondered how many months later will it be available in retailers.

Yeah, I just saw that too in the Funi "Upcoming" insert that came with Full Metal Panic TSR Vol. 4.

Since the questions asked by the original poster have been answered, I think our work is done here.
