Yeah it is okay, I have watched it but I do not it is worth all the hype and definatly should not be considered an all time great.
All time greats are the classics that show us something that is so mind blowing that you have to love it. I could definately put bebop, outlaw star, and possibly Full Metal Panic in this category.
Yeah I don't hate Fullmetal Alchemist by any means I just don't think it is as good as people hype it up to be.
[EDIT: Fixed your spelling of Fullmetal Alchemist. -TK]
It is all a matter of personal opinion. I happened to love Full Metal just for the fact that it got me so emotionally involved. It is really rare that an anime causes me scream profanities at the tv (towards the end of the sereis I did this on a nightly basis) much less absolutely love the good guys and hate hate hate the bad guys. I honestly couldn't get into the movie for some reason, but many other people enjoyed it. That is the great thing about anime though, no matter what you like you have plenty titles to choose from.

Care to make an actual argument? Just saying it's overrated and that it's not worth the hype tells us nothing. Why do you think it's overrated? Did you not like the characters, were there plot-holes, did something about alchemy just not sit well with your, or what?
And how exactly are Bebop, OS, or even FMP! considered so mind-blowing that I and everyone else in the Milky Way just have to love and consider them all-time greats?

Streaming on Crunchyroll today, this film shows why this is one of the series' most popular arcs—even if a bit too much was left on the cutting room floor.― One of the most interesting choices that came from adapting Overlord IV is that the series skipped an entire arc—two entire light novels worth of story. This left an odd gap between episodes seven and eight of that series—where we go from Ainz d...
Otaku no Video is an interesting cross-section of what otaku was into at that time.In a sense, that captures the essence of Otaku no Video: a product of its time that remains timeless.― Otaku no Video is a work full of contrasts that remains an endearingly absurd classic. Mere mortals can't hope to understand Steam's rationale for what makes a game "inappropriate" for their platform.― Welcome back, folks. I figured the anniversary of my accident would be the toughest part of this week, but it looks like fate had other plans in store. On the other hand, I at least feel encouraged; if I can survive a car, I can survive a lot else. Besides, I have a column to write—some...
To shine a spotlight on this job and what it entails, Richard Eisenbeis recently sat down with My Deer Friend Nokotan's animation director Karin Ōmura at Wit Studio's main office in Tokyo.― While most people have an idea what directors, animators, or scenario writers do, these are only a few of the jobs involved in the creation of anime. Sonic X Shadow Generations is a strong contender for one of the best 3D Sonic experiences― Shadow is so damn cool, guys. Although nominally an artbook, this might be just as easily described as a collection of folklore.― “Shigeru Mizuki,” translator and scholar Zack Davisson says in his introductory essay, “lived in a vibrant fantasy world where every tree, every blade of grass was infused with spiritual energy.” If any one thing comes through in this collection of Mizuki's artwork, it is this – there's a deeply roote...
