I was thinking about a thread where the members could show us their otaku collections and display (DVD's, manga, posters, figures, statues, memorabilia etc). I know this is a common thread on many other forums and people take photos of their stuff and post them on the thread. I always liked looking at other people's collections, being a collector myself.
To upload pics here you can use www.imageshack.us , www.imagevenue.com , www.photobucket.com. Please do not post pics that are not suited for the forums. |

Jesus I would need lots of pics lol. I'll give it a shot and try. I noticed you're quite the Shirow fan. Nice Intron figures. I have most of those Evangelion figures, and that one Faye sitting figure myself.

This isn't even close to being done being put together, but here are two pics and the clutter around them.
Most of my Transformers: Where my anime and other figures will go: Going to try to get most of this cleaned up next time I'm on vacation (whenever that is). Emerje |

Man, I feel so pitiful. I've only got one anime figure. I'll most likely get more eventually.
http://www.figure.fm/userimages//big/2006031824.jpg That isn't the actual figure that I have here on my desk at work, but you get the picture. I have a very small anime DVD collection, but I just made two large orders from TRSI recently, so my collection will have grown quite a bit come May (when I've recieved all of the pre-orders). I'll wait and post a picture then (it will still be relatively small when compared to other collections I've seen though). Finally, I have nearly 80 manga books. I can post a picture of my manga later when I get home. |

Nice, I might post some pictures in the near future too. I hate to break it to you, but your Evangelion and Gits:SAC DVD's are bootlegs. |

@ Emerje - man, that's a LOT of figures you have there.
I don't have anywhere near as many figures as you have, as the main bulk of my anime merchandising collection is made up of artbooks. At the last count, I have over 270. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h211/EVA_fiend/Bedroom1.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h211/EVA_fiend/Shrinetoo1.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h211/EVA_fiend/Shrinetoo3.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h211/EVA_fiend/Models.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h211/EVA_fiend/Gundammodels.jpg |

Yep, entirely. Hard to tell from the pics, but they fill out all of the shelves, very little free space. Each shelf is based on a different series, some are missing figures because I ran out of room. That's how the other shelves will be when I'm done with them. Emerje |

EVA Fiend: the models you have are statues or model kits that you need to assemble? They look really neat!

Moreover, where on Earth (and when) did you find that Tenjou Utena movie model (figure? doll? bah, I don't know terms)? |

Of the four models, the Misato (Evangelion), Devilman Lady, & Utena are resin kits. The Seras manga figure (Hellsing) is a completed PVC(?) statue. I built the Misato kit with a friend many years ago, but the Devilman Lady & the Utena kits ended up getting sent to a profesional model builder after I attempted (& failed) to make them myself.
The Utena figure is actually a resin kit of the TV version of the character. I just had her painted in her movie colours as I wanted the figure to look a bit more unique. As for the kit itself, it's an original Kotobukiya resin kit (originally made in 1997), that I picked up on eBay several years ago. The Kotobukiya kit is rather hard to come by these days, but they do spring up on eBay occasionally. |

Just got my digital camera back, been passed around by lots of friends. Once I get their crap off I'll take some pics and put them up. No where near as many as some of you though.
