People wonder about Ash not aging, but Team Rocket doesn't seem to age, either!

maybe not, but at least they somewhat mature. I mean I loved them at the start of best wishes when they went all black and serious. Then because people were whining, the animators switched team rocket to their old white clothes and made them somewhat silly again. But regardless, at least they were more mature and smarter than in D/P.
On the other hand, Ash seems to lack maturity...in fact he downgrades when he enters a new region. If they wanna keep him young, at least make him wiser and stop making his lv 100 pikachu lose to a lv5 starter each time

I stopped caring about this series once May left.
They should just have two new protagonists (a boy and a girl, each with their own Pikachu) and just retire Ash.

With Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont being featured in this 17th season of Pokemon, I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing it.
I also find it amazing that Team Rocket's Wobbuffet is back. I just love it when it says its name as Jessie, James, and Meowth are being flown into the skies after being blasted by an explosion.

I haven't watched the series since Misty had togepi. There's only so much anime I can watch!

Dear god, why can't this show just die. At least switch things up, get rid of the immortal Ash. Watching this show after Johto Journeys is like watching a loved one waste away on life support.

I haven't seen this series since the Advance Generations but I can understand why it is still going on (it's a cash cow after all). Hopefully Origins will help ease the pain of the original anime.
Plus, read Pokemon Adventures manga. That is what I like to call the good version of Pokemon.

Wait, Team Rocket is gonna become comic relief again?
WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT?! Team Rocket's been so awesome lately, and now the writers are gonna ruin them? Once Hoenn ended, they stopped being funny completely.
This is incredibly disappointing.

I wish people would stop suggesting to read the manga series. We get it, some of the manga series are better and more mature than the anime. However, even though many of us may enjoy manga, there are still many of us who are more into anime and therefore want to see a better Pokemon series in animated form.

I've always liked Pokémon, but I haven't followed the show regularly since the first dozen or so episodes (back when it was originally on Kids WB I think?). During the course of channel surfing over the years, I've seen various companions come and go with Ash, but I never could bring myself to begin watching the show again because I was, what, hundreds of episodes behind?
After discovering awhile ago that my local cable channel has Cartoon Network (and current episodes of Pokémon) On Demand*, I think Pokémon XY might be my chance to get back in the saddle.
*Can't watch stuff online.

When Team Rocket became darker and more serious, a good chunk of the Pokemon community were left frustrated with the characteristic change.
I thought this serious side of Team Rocket was interesting twist within the earlier part of the Black and White series...
However, after some episodes, I eventually got bored with it...
Hence, I was satisfied when they were back to being petty [but comical] thieves.
