This news makes me feel happy. I am surprised that Geneon licensed Karin. I will be looking forward to adding this to my collection.

So, are they actually going to keep the title as Karin, or are they going to follow suit with the manga publisher and name it something ridiculous like "Chibi Vampire?"

I'm a little surprised, but hardly disappointed.
The big question is, will they keep the original name? (The manga didn't.)

Glad Geneon picked it up. Karin deserves to be in good company with a good company. Will be a very good dub. Can't wait.

I can't believe I actually heard this news first over lunch this afternoon from a Geneon representative. How cool is that! *laughs*

It's going to be called Karin. No name changes or add-ons.
Also, Vol. #1 will have an artbox, although details of the box are not yet known at the time.

Sweet. This news will undoubtedly make my brother a happy happy person.
Glad Geneon got it as well. Most of their dubs turn out above average, so hopefully this one will as well. Please Geneon, let Ren be voiced by Liam O'Brien. Please.

I loved Karin. But I think I'll watch it once more before committing to buying it.

'Getting licensed is so embarrassing!'
Yay, one of my absolute favorites has been licensed! This news made my day. I'm glad that it's coming out so soon, that way I won't have to wait that long at all to buy volume 1. Plus, Geneon got it, which is a great sign that the dub will be a good one. Again: "Yay!"

Definitely something I'll be keeping my eye on, since I haven't seen the anime but am currently reading the manga. However, my resolve is already weakening...

Ah was kind of curious when this would happen.
And yeah since it's a different company they will probably just keep the title.
I always assumed Tokyopop had changed the name of the manga because they also have Kamichama Karin and didn't want people getting the two titles mixed up... *tilts head* course I never looked up anything to see if this is really the reason. Personally I can't see any other that would make sense...
Man so many good things being licensed recently, hope I'll have enough money for it all.

I was thinking about this one during work today. Wondering if it would ever be picked up. Irony seemed to be the theme for today.

I was hoping for ADV Films, but I suppose Geneon is as good a choice as any.
Glad somebody licensed Karin at last.

I like Geneon. I like Karin. I win.
EDIT: And the getting licensed is embarrasing line made me laugh.
