Very, very true. Though I purchased my limited edition copy the day it came out in Japan. The only reason I delayed myself last time was because I wanted to support NISA, and Koei screwed the pooch on that one. An Atelier game without dual audio is an atrocity.

^Nah the real atrocity was the bore translation. Made the somewhat okay voice actors sound like crap. If this game improves on the translation I will be pleased, if dual audio is implemented it would be a little better, but the translation!!!!!!

Im honestly more interested in the other two titles. The Atelier games are "played one played them all", not bad per se, just the exact same format over and over again. And for those who whine about all protagonist always being male, I pretty sure that through at least 5 games that exist, there has never been a male protagonist, only sidekick.

The last 4 at least have been female main characters. I have no idea before that.

Atelier protagonists are almost always female. The only exceptions are the guys in Atelier Iris 1-3 and the heroes in the Mana Khemia games (though the second one has a female main character as well). Include Logy and that makes 6 heroes in a series that has 15 installments. That's not counting the side games. IIRC there are 8 of those and they all have female protagonists.

I couldn't care less about the other games, but the fact that there's a dude and this sounds like a more traditional jrpg means I'll try it when it's cheap.
