I have looked all over for the forth disc of Rave Master and just can't seem to find it anywhere. It seems like it was never released. I know the show didn't do to well when it was on Cartoon Network, but I don't understand why they would just stop releasing the dvds. Also the series went for 51 episodes on its Japan release, but did the american version last that long on tv?

You might want to refer to the retail section for this question, but anyway, according to the encyclopedia, volume 4 never was released. Just like you said, it wasn't popular in the US. Companies wouldn't want to sell items if customers didn't want them. They only managed to release 3 volumes.

Volume 4 will be release some time in 2010. But why are they going to release it that late?! It doesn't make any sense! By then "Rave Master" series popularity will go down and ends up selling it real cheap.

As Nerv1 posted earlier, the fourth volume was never released, and probably won't be. I don't know where you found this 2010 release year, but this is a backhand method of saying something will never see the light of day rather than announcing it up front. |

Does anyone know if the series ran all the way through on to 51 on tv?

According to TV.com episode 51 aired on July 31, 2005. I can't vouch for how accurate they are with this show, but I have looked other stuff up there before and it has usually been dependable. |

I can say that Cartoon Network did in fact air all 51 episodes, I watched through to "the end"*. Although if I recall correctly, I think the second season or most of the last episodes were aired at some weird 5am weekend time rather than Toonami.
The only alternative is that maybe you could start picking up the manga. It goes further than the anime does anyway. I've only picked up the first volume so far, but I think it's on par with the anime. It's paced differently, but it has the same feel to it. |
