Wait, Jessica Calvello in a Texas-based dub? I though she swore off those in favor of NY work when ADV screwed her over with Excel Saga and she strained her voice as a result.

Well:
1. This isn't ADV. The people in charge of this aren't the ones who screwed her over.
2. She's probably in Texas reprising her role of Chouhi Ekitoku for Ikki Touson: Great Guardians.

Man, it's weird to see Fairy Tail with an animation budget...
...looks cool though.

I can't wait to see this. I was surprised the trailer didn't have the infamous NaLu hug though.

Hopefully Funimation actually remembered to dub "Fairy Tail the Movie Prologue: "The First Morning"
I'm still disappointed Hellsing: The Dawn and the shorts for High School DxD weren't dubbed
If Jessica Calvello's primary reason for being at Funimation was for Ikki Tousen it almost makes me think Mike McFarland is the ADR Director since almost none of the other directors have ever used out of town talent (except for Chris Sabat inviting Michelle Ruff & Richard Epcar for Lupin III: TWCFM.) The other ADR Directors just take advantage of out of town talent while they're in the area primarily for McFarland dubs.
But since McFarland has yet to direct a dub for an ecchi title (probably for the best since he'd probably just cast the same female talent he likes and I mostly hate) maybe the brand manager of Ikki Tousen or a producer like Justin Cook (if responsible for getting some of the previous cast back) deserves any praise.
It would be a nice improvement.
Funimation brand managers have always treated fanservice titles with barely any effort or care and blow the marketing budget on titles they obviously like instead. Fanservice fans get cringe-worthy slogans and trailers edited to make any fans feel like perverts; I won't deny most of those fans probably are, but Funimation shouldn't disrespect the fanbase who buy the titles for a genre that continues to be best-seller.

Actually in their press release, they said they dubbed and will include it.

Okay, If I've only seen up to Part 6, will this movie spoil anything?

Oh, yes, I've been waiting for ages to see this movie.
Those four movie-exclusive characters raises my interest quite dearly.

You've already been spoiled just by looking at anything relating to this movie thanks to Funi.

Now that looks like a lot of fun! It looks pretty blockbuster quality there in the action scenes and with a higher animation budget and lenient censors by actually having blood, if the series got a big upgrade like this, I would tune in a lot more.
Also, Funimation is going to release this movie before they dub the Edolas arc? Oh geez, I can't wait to hear the English dub fans being confused on how Lisanna is alive, Pantherlily's appearance, and the many changes that occurred in the time skip.
After looking at that trailer, I really want to go see the film again but this time in gloriously epic HD.

Whatever are you talking about? I didn't watch this particular trailer, but I already saw the movie and it's clear they didn't spend a dime animating it -or writing the story for that matter-. Honestly, as badly animated as the anime is said to be (imho it has ups and downs, but whatever) it's leagues superior to whatever they tried with this film
